During periods of high humidity, water droplets can form in the air hose even when a regulator is connected. By attaching the Mr. Drain & Dust Catcher to your airbrush, you can remove water droplets from the air hose, along with any dust in the air coming from the compressor, before they reach the airbrush. The "Light" type uses an aluminum body for a lighter design, and it also makes the airbrush easier to grip, significantly improving the precision of your painting.
