This is a plastic label-printer tape that can be used as a guide tape for scribing panel lines. It's made in a highly visible fluorescent color for model making. The tape uses a thick, hard PVC material with a strong adhesive grip, which makes it well suited as guide tape for scribing panel lines. Since that isn't its original purpose, though, the release film on the back can take some effort to peel off. If it won't peel cleanly, use a finely tapered pair of tweezers. This product is best suited to those with nimble hands.

It has a stronger adhesive than the regular clear guide tape (CGT-6MM, etc.), but it won't stick well if any sanding dust or skin oils remain on the work surface, so please clean and degrease the surface before use. Because of that strong adhesive, when you peel it off a painted surface the primer or paint may come away with it, and if it's left on for a long time it may leave adhesive residue behind. We recommend using it alongside the regular guide tape (CGT-6MM, etc.).
