A flat drill that carves round recesses without pre-drilling!

This is a flat drill bit with a center guide, used by fixing it into a pin vise. Unlike a spin blade, it can carve flat-bottomed round recesses without first drilling a pilot hole.

How to use

1. Set the center guide firmly into the middle of the spot where you want the hole.

2. Gently rotate it clockwise.

3. Carve to the depth you want.

-Set of 5 pieces in 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0mm sizes.

-The shaft is standardized at Φ3mm, so there's no need to swap the pin vise's collet chuck when changing pieces.

-Comes with a case for easy storage and transport.
