GSI Creos Mr. Hobby - Mr. Lapros Polishing Sheet #6000 and #8000 - GT62

Mr. Lapros polishing sheets were originally developed for aircraft maintenance, where they were used mainly for the final finishing and polishing of passenger windows on civilian aircraft. They are less likely to leave deep scratches on the object being polished and give a uniform, stable finish. Structurally they are the same as abrasive cloth paper, but because the base-material treatment and synthetic resin use a particularly soft, cushioning material, they are gentle on the surface being worked. Flexible and easily conforming to the complex shapes of three-dimensional objects, they produce a fine, beautiful finish. This set includes ultra-fine #6000 and #8000 sheets for final surface refinement and smooth finishing on scale models.

The sheets are suited to scratch removal, finishing, pre-finishing before compounding, and polishing of plastic products, metal products, and painted surfaces, and can be used for both dry polishing and wet polishing with water.
