BANDAI SPIRITS - RX-78-02 Gundam (Gundam The Origin Ver.) - HG - 1/144 Scale Gunpla Plastic Model - Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN

The RX-78-02 Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam THE ORIGIN" joins the HG lineup!

With a parts configuration that reproduces the colors simply by assembling, and the latest HG-series format, this kit is a fitting way to kick off Gunpla's 40th anniversary. Selectable parts let you enjoy both the early model, defined by its asymmetrical design, and the mid-model, defined by its symmetrical design.

For the early model, the left forearm is fitted with a gatling gun, and the cuff shapes differ left and right for an asymmetrical look; the mid-model uses identical parts on both sides. The chest recreates the early model's asymmetry by mounting a shoulder magnum on the upper left and a vulcan cannon on the upper right, while using a common left/right cover block part reproduces the mid-model's symmetrical shape. The shoulders can be built as either model by selecting the upper parts. Movable verniers are built into the calves and can be displayed with their covers deployed, and the toe parts are also movable. The included weapons can be attached to joints on the waist and shield.
