Panel Line Engraving Template [E]

This etching template collection lets anyone accurately engrave raised and recessed panel lines. It's designed for chisels 0.15mm wide or narrower, but can also be used with scribing needles and similar tools.

Because the full outline of each slit is enclosed, the raised corners connect up neatly, which makes it a great choice for beginners at panel line engraving. The mesh surrounding the template gives it excellent conformability and springback on curved surfaces. Its nipperless design means you don't need etching nippers, so you can separate the delicate template without damaging it.

Mending tape is handy for holding the template in place. For even cleaner panel lines, lift the template now and then to check your engraving progress.
